Garden Fairies.

It looks like someone was here last night.
Whoever it was, must have been busy.

I keep this little birdbath in the sun room in the summer months, and in the living room in winter.

It seems a Garden Fairy, or two decided to make use of it this year.

I don't mind.
It also seems to be a haven for flowers, and dragon flies(the kind who's wings move via hidden cords).
If the fairies need a place to play in the evenings.....they are welcome here at the cottage.

It seems they have a bit of a beach-theme going on....with sand, and wee sea stars, and other shells strewn about.

It looks as though they left in a hurry.
I wonder if I startled them this morning?

I love the little chandelier hanging in the arbor!
So sweet.

Have you seen any Garden Fairies at your house this summer?
I'll try to get a picture of one.
They've got to be hiding here somewhere!!
hmmmm.......

  1. Debbie, That is so darn cute...I bet your grandkids will want to play a bit with it. I like the dragonflies also. I just saw some of those tiny little clay pots this weekend. I love fairy gardens too. Emma has one here. The first one she and I made...we made at the base of a tree that look as if it had an opening ....Sam the dog tore it up.LOL That dog. Blessings to you for some wonderful summer time in the sun. Love you, Susie

  2. Just darling, and you took me away to a far and wonderful place. I think I did see a little fairy peeking around a pot.

  5. Hi Debbie, what a beautiful and precious fairy garden you created. Love the little chandy and all the pretty details. I thought I saw a fairy in the background. Wait, oh she fluttered off above the archway.
    Beautiful my friend.

  8. That is really cute. Now that I want to do one, I cannot find miniature anything now! And walmart is ever dwindling in their craft section...UGH!
Have a good weekend there, girl and hope the sun shines for you.

  9. I am 62 years old, and believe in fairies. How could they not live here? It's adorable, Debbie!

My fairy garden is outdoors, in a planter in with the wildflowers. I love that yours is indoors and can be enjoyed up close. :)

    Have a happy weekend!
    xoxo,

My hubby just walked in and saw this on my screen and said, "How fun!" Yes, fun, fun, fun. Don't we just need more of that in our lives? Thanks for brightening our day with this charming post.
